Non-toxic?
I hope so!! I was letting Harper hold two crayons while she walked around the house. I didn't realize that she was also snacking on them! She had blue crayon caked in all of her teeth - even the brand new molar she got last week! I was able to get most of it out with a wet paper towel, but she was still drooling blue for at least 15 minutes. Mom of the Year I tell you...

Delaney on Stage
Delaney's class got to lead worship time this week at school. I was able to sneak out during my plan time to watch her. Mama, Papa, Honey, Daddy, and Harper also cheered her on.
Delaney was lucky enough to get to hold the Bible both times during the Pledge to the Bible.

Uh-Oh! It Has Begun!
Dance Class
We enrolled Delaney in her first dance class at the Y along with Claire. It's a ballet/tap/jazz combo class so they'll get a tiny taste of all three. This session doesn't have a recital at the end. Instead, they just have the parents come in the last 5 minutes of class to see what the kids learned that night.

Tyler's Party
Tyler had his 3rd birthday party at his Aunt Beth's dance studio. It was a Yo Gabba Gabba dance party theme. Delaney was so excited to be going to her first "dance party".
Beth had all sorts of neat hats and props for the kids to use. Delaney and Claire liked the funky wigs and noisemakers.
Harper wasn't so sure about her daisy headband.
Tyler wasn't loving his party at the beginning. It took him a while to warm up, but then he had just as much fun as the rest of the kids!
Beth leads the group in a round of Simon Says.
Harper loved being able to dance and roam freely!
Allan was such a good sport. He doesn't really like to dance, but he boogied with Claire, Delaney, and Ryan.
Isn't that a neat cake that Krista's friend made?
At one point we looked over and Claire and Delaney were slow-dancing. I have no idea where they learned how to position their hands, but it cracked us up! Two minutes later, they were back to their normal pushing, fighting, non-sharing selves :) Delaney got mad at Claire because she said she didn't want pizza, then Claire got mad at Delaney because she wanted her Lady Bug wings. There's always something when they're together!

We got a pretty decent snowfall that closed school for two days on Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately, it was also 2 degrees and Allan had to work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so Delaney didn't get to play out in it. Allan was finally off today and the weather was sunny and warmer allowing them to have som fun!

Happy Birthday, Claire!
Today Claire turned 3! We're so lucky that two of Delaney's best buds are born just 2 weeks after her. Claire and her Mommy invited us over to play for a while.

Children's Museum
Today is Tyler's 3rd birthday! It also happens to be a snow day for Mommy, so we were very lucky to be able to meet Krista, Tyler, and Lucas at the Children's Museum in Edwardsville for a couple of hours of play time followed by lunch at McDonald's. Thanks to Honey for watching Harper so I could focus on spending time with Delaney instead of chasing the brand new walker!
and at the grocery store.
Delaney puts on a puppet show. I should add here that when I told Delaney that we were going to the Children's Museum she was so excited that she was going to see dinosaurs! I knew that they didn't have dinosaurs there and didn't know how Delaney knew that dinosaurs were at museums - I guess from a book or something. Anyway, I was glad to find this dinosaur puppet that she could pretend with.

Daddy's Day
Tuesday's are Daddy's day off, so he stays home with the girls. Apparently, on his day, he makes Delaney feed Harper and keeps Harper in her PJ's all day!

Just kidding! We are so lucky that Allan is able to stay home with the girls one day a week. They all love Daddy Days and he does a great job with them.

Handprint
I promise we didn't burn her or slap her across the face. She just woke up from her nap with this handprint on her face. If you look closely you can even see the indentations from her fingernails! This girl must have been in a deep sleep!
