Delaney chose to have her friend birthday party at SIUE bowling alley this year. As far as parties go, this was a strike! The alley wasn't crowded at all, we could bring in our own food, and it was cheap! In order to keep limited to two lanes, Delaney just invited her 2nd grade friends (and Emma and Harper). The size was very manageable. I'm very thankful that Allan took the day off to help me, though.

The girls and I made the blue velvet cupcakes with white icing and green polka dots.
I made the party favors - little buckets of gumballs.
Since there was no crowd, the girls had an impromptu dance party.
She hit the Happy Up gift card jackpot!
That evening, we had dinner at Mama and Papas since Iain, Julie, and the kids just got in town. We went ahead and celebrated her birthday again that night. She is one lucky girl!
