Mother of the Year

I've been working very hard to earn my Mother of the Year award this year. Here are a couple of photos I'm going to submit to the judges as evidence:

Both girls sitting on the island eating Lays potato chips and Prairie Farms french onion dip. If you look closely, you can see that Delaney is still in her Pull-Up from nap time and Harper's diaper is so full it is bulging out of her shorts.

A very sweet picture, yes, but what you can't tell by looking is that I let Harper sleep in my arms for a 45 minute nap that started at 6:00 pm. The result? A little munchkin that wouldn't go to bed until after 9 pm that night!!

Allan will probably be writing a letter in support of my Mother of the Year award as well. In it, I'm sure he'll be sure to add that I let both of my girls dip Chips Ahoy reduced fat chocolate chip cookies (my daily breakfast) into my coffee and have a nibble every morning. He's so proud of me :)

I can hardly wait to frame the certificate and hang it on the wall!!
