Allan has been promising Delaney that they would make some oatmeal raisin cookies and tonight was the big night! There are a couple of things that Allan makes better than me and oatmeal cookies are one of them.
Ever the Gadget Guy, Allan gave Delaney a headlamp to peer at the cookies while they were baking. We don't need no stinkin' oven light!
The girls read books to themselves while waiting for the cookies to bake.
Then I took a turn reading to them - not sure why I was laying on the floor by the garage door, though.
The finished product. If they look a little pancakish, it may be because we were 1/2 cup short of flour so we substituted Bisquick! They tasted delicious, though!
