We were so honored when our babysitter, Danielle, asked the girls to be flower girls in her wedding and even more excited when we found out the Tyler and Lucas would be the ring bearers! The wedding was in Quincy, so we drove up Friday afternoon for the rehearsal and dinner. I have to admit that I was SO nervous about the girls messing up or even downright refusing to walk down the aisle (Harper). But, they practiced a few times and seemed to have a handle on it. After the rehearsal, we had a delicious dinner at the Quincy Country Club.

Hopefully she doesn't make this face for the real thing!
On wedding day, we didn't have to be ready for pictures until 2:00, so we went to downtown Quincy and visited the riverfront and a farmer's market in Washington Park. We met the Rudds for lunch at Thyme Square Cafe then headed to the hotel for showers. We met Danielle and her wedding party at a different park for outdoor pictures. Again, I was nervous that the girls would have a finger in either their mouth or their nose in every picture, but they smiled like champs!
Beautiful and handsome!
During their down time, the kids climbed trees, threw sticks in the creek, looked for 4-leaf clovers, and gave me several mini-heart attacks because I thought they would ruin their clothes :)
It was pretty warm, so Daddy helped out with drinks of cold water. I felt horrible for the guys in their tuxes.
Sweet Harper Girl
Delaney didn't have any luck finding a shamrock.
Lucas
Love this one!
Precious
Thankfully, Harper fell asleep in the car on the way from the park to the church, so Allan sat with her while I went inside to get myself ready and touch up Delaney's hair.
Cutey Colin looked so handsome for the wedding!
The plan was for the kids to walk down the aisle and wait for a few minutes until the congregation stood up to watch Danielle enter the church, then sneak over to the side where I was sitting. It all went down without a hitch. However, our kids are not used to sitting in a quiet church, so it was hard keeping them busy and entertained during the ceremony. Krista saved the day with some marshmallows :)
Mr. and Mrs. Marc Corcoran
The boys and Harper and Delaney also helped pass out the bubbles.
All dressed up
Craig stepped in to help with the bubbles when all the kids got distracted by the horses outside.
The Jones Family
The Busch FamilyI know I took several pictures of the Rudds, but they must have all been with Krista's camera, because I don't have any of them!
Love this picture of Luke, Delaney, Claire, and Harper walking into the reception.
We thought we would try letting the kids have their own table in the corner.
Claire and Delaney
You can see Delaney's black eyes pretty well here. On the Monday before the wedding, she bumped her head on a TV tray table at small group. There was a pretty good goose egg, but as the week wore on, her eyes got progressively blacker! I would have bet money that if anyone would have a shiner it would have been Harper!!
I confiscated the bottle of champagne from the kids' table for myself.
Harper was pouting in a corner because no one wanted to marry her.
The hot mamas...
...and handsome daddies.
At first, the little boys didn't want to dance with the girls when the bridal party had their dance, so Delaney and Harper danced together.
But then Tyler decided he wanted in on the action (I think maybe he was threatened with no cake).
All of the kids waiting patiently for the Daddy/Daughter dance to be over so they could get out and boogie!
Danielle made lots of money off of the kids during the dollar dance :)
Finally, Lucas was ready to dance with Harper but then he didn't want anyone else to dance with her!
Who knows what Miss Bossy Pants is telling him here.
Landon and Claire loved dancing together.
I love this picture of Brody in with all of the girls for the bouquet toss!
Nothing's better than dancing in a twirly dress.
This picture accurately portrays how much fun Delaney was having :)
Daddy and the girls - the only Daddy in the group to get out and dance with his kids
Mrs. Danielle, Mommy, and the girls doing the Cupid Shuffle.
We all had so much fun and were sad to have to leave as early as we did, but we still had to drive 2 1/2 hours home because Allan had to work the next day. It was a fantastic night!!
Congratulations Marc and Danielle!
