It's hard to believe that I am actually writing this, but after 16 years of working at The Cyclery, Allan is finally moving on. He has accepted a position at Cardinal Health as a Territory Sales Consultant. Brian and Kevin have been after him for a couple of years about joining Cardinal and the time finally felt right. This position is based in southern Illinois so, once he completes all of his training, he will be home every evening and on weekends. That is huge for us!
As you can imagine, Allan was nervous to tell his boss Steve that he was leaving. He and his wife, Katie, have been more than generous to our family. Steve was so supportive and understanding, if a little shocked. He told Allan that he wants the best for him and that there is always a job for him at The Cyclery.
The Cyclery gang got together at Wang Gang tonight to have a going away party. Nice words were said by all and very few tears were shed. It was a happy celebration and a great send off.

Since Allan has always had a company car, we had to buy him a new car to drive. Thankfully, he will get reimbursed for his mileage which will more than cover our monthly car payment. It's been a looong time since we've had a car instead of an SUV, but both of us are loving driving it.
