We decided to take a trip up to Minneapolis to visit Allan's brother and family - our first family flight! I was very worried about how Harper would be since she would be a lap child and she's an on-the-go kind of girl. However, both girls exceeded my expectations and were fabulous travelers! The flight up was only half full, which allowed us to spread out and get comfortable. We had a few tears because it was way past bedtime, but Harper fell asleep for the last 30 minutes of the trip. Delaney sat by Daddy and kept busy reading, coloring, and eating pretzels. I think the highlight of her trip was getting to chew gum for the take-off and landing.

Our original plan was to take Delaney our of the carseat after take-off and put Harper in so she would be more restrained. However, Harper thought it was fun to kick the seat in front of her, so that didn't last long.
