Today was Delaney's 100th Day of Kindergarten! They have been preparing for this day for quite a while by learning all sorts of different ways to count to 100 (1s, 2s, 5s, 10s), writing 100 words (she was able to read every word to me!), reading a story about Mrs. Bindergarten and her 100th day of Kindergarten, and making "100" projects out of goldfish, cottonballs, smarties, etc. Today they celebrated by putting 100 stickers on the streamers of a hat, writing a sentence about what they would do with $100 (Delaney wrote that she would buy 100 Barbies), getting a special 100th day pencil, and eating a special snack with 100 pieces in the mix.
