Harper was playing down at the Venzon's this morning when I got a call from Lisa saying, "Um, I think Harper may need stitches. She just ran into the corner of the wall while playing tag and she has a gash on her forehead." I had just gotten out of the shower and Allan was on a run. I told Lisa not to worry, that we are very experienced in this sort of thing.
I grabbed our sample of Secure Seal liquid glue and ran down to their house. After inspecting her small wound, I decided it was no bigger than any other cut she had gotten that the doctors had used Dermabond on. So, while Lisa squeezed it together, I applied the glue. Good as new! I sent a couple of pictures to our nurse friend, Rachel, and she approved of my work.

30 minutes later, Harper was out playing with the rest of the neighborhood kids. We did make her stay home from her soccer game, though. It looks like she will be sporting more bandaids this summer so the scarring is kept to a minimum!
