Let's ZOO This!

We decided late last night to get up early today to make it to the zoo before 9 so we could do the Children's zoo for free.  We also packed a lunch so we could have a picnic and save some money for our trip in a few days.  The weather was decent - overcast and humid but with a good breeze.  Everything was good except we only brought one stroller so the girls were constantly fighting over it.  I'm not sure why we actually brought it in the first place.  A 7 and 5 year old should be able to walk through the zoo easily!  It made us really question the issue of strollers on our Europe trip.  I think we have decided that we either need to bring 2 or 0!  

After our picnic lunch in front of the World's Fair Pavilion, we all felt much better.

We let the girls play in the fountain for a bit.  This is for sure my favorite area of Forest Park.  I think it is just beautiful!

And then let them play at the Forest Park playground for 30 minutes before heading home.
