I am in full summer mode and have no interest in blogging, but I know that I need to get caught up before we leave for Europe in a week, so here goes:
June 14 - I went to my co-worker, Sarah's, wedding in German town. It was perfect! Allan came with me to the reception and took this picture of me and my "Big Sis", Sutton Sauer. We work together and people tell us all the time how much we resemble each other. She is 13 years older than me, but I can only hope I look as good as her when I am 50!
June 15, Father's Day, we all went out to visit Dad and Barb and eat at Cracker Barrel. It was nice to sit and reminisce and hear some of Dad's stories from his younger years.
Delaney and Harper are doing Tennis Camp through EHS two days a week for three weeks. So far, Harper says it is the best sport she has ever played and Delaney is having fun, too! We might look into doing tennis sessions at the Y. I am all for a sport that let's you wear cute little outfits :)
June 20, Deb, Ness, and I took our kids to see The Little Mermaid at the Alfresco Theatre in Granite. Boy, was I impressed! The costumes and makeup were fantastic and so were the child actors! My girls loved it and Delaney even said she wanted to be in a play. Sounds like we may be signing her up for theater camp next summer!
June 22, Allan and Craig went for a bike ride then the girls and I met him up at Ness and Craig's house to play and ride around in Papa Paul's little red car that Craig is fixing up to sell. While the guys were outside messing around with the kids, Ness and I sat in her kitchen and looked through my high school photo albums that I had out for my 20th reunion planning committee meeting - always a fun time and a good laugh!
June 28, we decided at the last minute to go see the matinee of Cinderella or the Story of Big Foot at the Wildey since the weather wasn't very good. Alayna was available to come with us. We all laughed so hard at the cute parody of the fairy tale. Again, this play was performed by kids for kids so it was only 45 min long and kept our attention the whole time. We were surprised to see Maggie, Molly, Bridget, Aunt Colleen, and all the kids (minus Aiden) when we walked in. We sat by them and you can seed them behind Delaney.
