1st Day of Pre K!

The girls went back to school today! It's Delaney's first day of Pre K, which to me says that she is officially growing up! Next year she is going to kindergarten!

School is different for us this year. It's the first time that they will not be going on M,W. Instead, Delaney goes T,W,TH, and Harper goes T,TH. They both go from 9:30 until 2:30 because Pre K is a longer day and it is silly for us to pick up Harper at 1 then head back for Delaney at 2:30. That means Harper has to take a nap at school! We'll see how that goes...

I came home during my plan time to take the girls with Allan. Drop off was great - no tears, just excitement. I can't wait to see how the girls grow phsically, mentally, and spiritually this year!

Welcome to Pre K!

Allan and I both picked the girls up at the end of the day as well. Harper actually slept for about an hour at school, which I couldn't believe! She was crabby the rest of the day, though, because that wasn't long enough. Delaney had so much fun and loves her new teacher, Mrs. Kellie. She was sort of in a daze by 2:30 because she is still used to taking a nap! I let them both lay down on the couch and watch a cartoon when we got home. It was a great first day!!
