Last Day of Summer Vacation :(

Today was my last official day of summer vacation - I can not believe how fast this summer has gone by!! We had a busy, fun summer and accomplished many things on our To Do list, but I'm still so sad to see it come to an end.

Harper had a special Honey Day and got the beauty shop treatment there - bath, hair trimmed, and nails painted. Delaney had a Mommy Day and we went to my classroom for a little while then the Rudd boys came over while Krista took Colin for a checkup. We were supposed to go get our nails done together, but Delaney ended up taking a 3 hour nap!

Tyler, Delaney, and Lucas kept busy for almost 30 minutes putting these ABC stickers on the register paper.

It rained during the afternoon, so we went out to play in the puddles when Daddy and Harper got home.

After the incredible heat and drought we had this summer, the puddles were a welcome sight!

In the early evening, we got a text from our neighbor Sarah asking if we wanted to do an outdoor movie with the kids. How fun! Delaney and Alayna play around with the cowboy hats while waiting for it to get dark.

We were treated to yet another gorgeous sunset. Thanks God!

Alayna, Delaney, Harper, Lucas, and Logan are ready to get the show on the road!

All snuggled in to watch "Tangled". This lasted all of 15 minutes then the little kids started to roam around. ALlan was actually able to take Harper home at 9:00 and put her to bed! Our monitor reached all the way over so we could still hang out and Delaney could finish the movie.
