No Nap? No Wonder!

Allan was home with the girls today. He's so good about doing all the fun stuff with them like making up games and building forts. Today, the girls talked him into putting a "canopy" over Harper's crib so they could have a hideout. The hideout quickly turned into a hoarder's haven! They shoved every book, blanket, baby, stuffed animal, etc. into the crib and couldn't even fit themselves in!

Since Harper's crib was otherwise occupied at naptime (and Allan was feeling too lazy to clean it out), he let the girls try to do a campout in Delaney's room. Of course, it didn't go well! The girls were too wound up to settle. I'm not sure how long they stayed in there, but I know neither of them napped.

However, this evening we had plans to meet Allan's parents for dinner to celebrate Liz's birthday. Allan and I were hustling around the house getting ready to walk out the door while the girls played upstairs. But look who finally decided to get some sleep:
