Bowling!

We took the girls bowling at SIUE tonight.  The Busch family also joined us for dinner at Red Robin first.  Delaney had been bowling once when she was 2 (maybe?) and Harper has never been.  When they were not up, Harper would stand next to the ball return and make sure there was an even number of balls on both sides and Delaney would sit in the row of chairs behind us like a big girl with her legs crossed spying on the high school students in the lanes next to us.  Both of them cracked us up.  It was lots of fun and we promised we would go back soon.

Delaney's first bowl.  She hit 7 pins!
It worked out best for the girls to roll the balls.  Of course, that meant it took about 2 1/2 minutes for the ball to actually make it to the end of the lane.  It was a loooong game.
The orange ball makes it look like Harper is bowling a pumpkin.
Cheering for herself.
Every time, Harper would push her ball then sprint back to stand by one of us almost as if she were afraid of getting sucked in with the ball and remaining pins.

I'm ashamed to say that I barely beat both girls by just 7 points!
