I Love You More Than...

For as much of an independent, stubborn, 3-year-old stinker that Harper is, she also has an incredibly sweet side.  The other day, she and I were snuggled in my bed as I was trying to get her to take a nap.  We were both reading books and I laid my book on my chest and closed my eyes, my head turned towards her.  She thought I was already asleep and leaned in to give me two gentle kisses on my nose and lips - so sweet!!!

Her favorite game to play with us is "I Love You More Than...".  Here is how it goes:
Me: I love you.
H:  I love you more.
Me:  Nope, not possible.  I will always love you more.
H:  Huh-uh, I love you more than....

"...a hundred million teddy bears."
"...all of the sky."
"...all of the cities."
"...a million hundred grasses."
"...to the moon, around and back."
"...all the words that I say."
or whatever other silly thing she can think of.  Of course, all of that means nothing when we are driving in the car and she tells me, "Mom, you know I love Dad more than you" and she's right back to being a stinker :)
