Andrew and Rachel had one request while they were in town and it was to eat at a restaurant they had seen on the Food Network called "Pappy's BBQ". Allan took the day off today so we could all head to STL to try it out only to find that it was closed until Jan. 2. Boo! We cheered ourselves up by going to The City Museum, a fantastically creative place made for kids but so engaging for adults as well. Our girls had never been there. We all did some exploring inside and the adults did some climbing outside while the girls played in the super huge ball pit and slid on some slides. We will definitely be back there! Afterwards, we ate at the Fountain on Locust, a favorite of ours.
