Easter Sunday was a fun, relaxing day for us, even though we hosted the celebration. I prefer to have the gatherings at my house because I don't mind making sure the house is clean as long as my Mom or Liz is willing to make the main dish!
The girls woke up and came down to our room to watch TV as usual. We actually had to remind them that they had baskets waiting downstairs. They were thrilled with their sticker books, movies, books, Barbies, bowls, straw cups, and candy. I think the Easter Bunny needs to reign it in a bit next year :)
The sun was out, so we decided to walk to Cassen's park to shoot some hoops and burn off some energy while waiting for family to come for lunch.
Everyone came at 1:00 and we enjoyed good food and conversation as usual. The highlight for the kids, of course, was the egg hunt in the yard.
