We had originally planned a night out with the Smallies and Joneses, but Deb and Scott had baseball, so the Rudds joined us instead. We decided to live it up and go to dinner on Washington Ave at Lucas Park Grille. It was a gorgeous night, so we sat outside and had dessert across the street at Blondies before going into the Jive and Wail dueling piano bar. Forgive all of the pictures. It was one of those nights where every picture seemed like a great idea, but the next morning I wondered why I thought they were so clever and funny. Still, it's fun to document a grown-up night out on the town.
My first Bloody Mary oyster shooter. I actually think I would have liked it better without the vodka.
Long story, but Ness was trying to read an email on her phone while talking to a coworker about a coon dog for sale - don't ask.
Krista ordered an empty plate as her dessert so she could share Brian's brownie. That night - hilarious, the next morning - stupid picture.
Again, why did I think this was a funny picture?
Allan surprised us all by ordering a Blonde Bombshell shot, his only drink of the night.
My handsome guy.
I can't tell you how many tries and hair fluffs it took to get a picture that we all agreed on.
We got a good one of the guys on the first try.
This one is for you, Ness. It was her favorite picture of the night.
