Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day today! Harper started the day of perfectly by sleeping in until 6:45 (yes, that's sleeping in for us). Next, Allan and the girls made a pancake breakfast and gave me two very nice cards. I'm going on a Girls' Trip to the lake next weekend, so I told Allan I didn't want any gifts. Then we went to Lowes so I could buy some flowers to plant in our planters. It's nice to finally have some color in front of the house. We had lunch at McD's (I didn't plan on cooking at all today). While the girls took their naps, I got to go to Kohls by myself! At 4:30, my parents and brother came over for dinner (Qdoba - I told you I wasn't cooking!). It was a beautiful sunny day and we enjoyed a lot of time outside - the perfect Mother's Day.

Harper, Me, Delaney, Honey

Harper was determined to get that bow out of her hair!

Harper says, "Honey is #1!"

Delaney asked me to take a picture of just her so I told her to do her favorite pose. This is it.

The girls taking a break on their new Adirondack chairs. A side note - I had another outfit set out for Delaney but she insisted that she wear the same as Harper.

Harper is sitting under the kitchen table getting a paci fix. She likes to carry around two or three at a time and switch them out.
