Delaney has always been a good, clear talker and has a great vocabulary. However, there are some words and phrases that she says incorrectly, but I can't bring myself to correct her because they sound so cute to me.
For instance:
she calls sunscreen "sunscream"
she calls sneezes "bless yous"
she says "concreek" instead of concrete
her morning meal is called "breakthix"
"sauchase" is her favorite pizza topping
We're a little behind the times, but she finally got to see "Toy Story 1" this week. According to Delaney the theme song is, "You've Got a Friend Named Me" and Buzz Lightyear's famous words are "In the liberty and beyond!"
The other day I asked Delaney if she would like a clippy in her hair for our walk. Her answer? "No, thanks for reminding me, but I changed my mind."
Where does she come up with these things?
