This year instead of having a party, we decided to celebrate Delaney and Claire's birthdays by going to the American Girl Bistro with Ness, Claire, Sarah, and Alayna. It was a ton of fun! The bistro was crowded, so they sat us in the party room. The food was decent and our server was great. The Doll of the Year, Isabelle, was being introduced this weekend. She is a dancer, so a local group of ballerinas came to perform in the store. Harper talked with them afterwards. As part of her gift, Ness and Claire paid for Delaney's doll, Lilly, to get her ears pierced. Then, as the final part of her gift from Mommy and Daddy, Delaney got her ears pierced. She did absolutely fantastic and barely flinched and didn't cry at all! I was so proud of her and thankful that the two workers agreed to do both ears simultaneously! Thanks to her BFFs for their support!
