Today was the first day in a long time that Allan and I were both off and we didn't have somewhere that we needed to be. I love days that I don't have to shower :) We bought some rock and flowers to continue working on the landscaping, Allan planted another tree and replaced some sod, I sanded down an old chest of my Bushia's that I'm going to paint for our front entrance, and the girls just enjoyed being outside in the perfect weather.
The highlight of the day, though, was grilling out and eating with our backdoor neighbors, the Garman's. We had such a nice time relaxing and getting to know them better. Our kids are exactly the same age, so we look forward to making memories with them for years to come.
