Harper had her 2 year well visit with Dr. Hulsen today. She was so excited when we dropped Delaney off at Honey's and she got to go to the doctor by herself. My girls love Dr. H!
Believe it or not, I only had one question for the doctor today (didn't even have a list!) and it was about some dry patches of skin on Harper's belly and legs. She said that it was probably excema but didn't anticipate it getting any worse or becoming a problem, especially since Harper doesn't even seem to notice that they are there. We just have to do hydrocortisone twice a day for two weeks, then aquaphor after that.
The nurse asked me if Harper can put two or three words together - HA! This morning she said a six word sentence - "I want Daddy get me out" (of her crib) and the other morning said "Mommy, I want one more waffle". Dr. H was very impressed with her speech and good behavior at today's appointment. Oh, and her pigtails, too :)
While checking out her mouth, the doctor noticed that Harper has already gotten her two year molars! Neglectful mom? Right here! I had no idea that she had even been teething! I also may have fibbed a little about whether she watches more or less than 2 hours of TV a day.
Other than that, the appointment was very fast and uneventful. I'm so proud of my healthy girl!
