Stomach Bug

Delaney woke up this morning saying her stomach hurt. I didn't think much of it, because Delaney never gets sick to her stomach. In fact, I don't know that she's ever had a stomach bug. I do remember her vomiting one time when I was pregnant with Harper. I just figured she needed to go to the bathroom or something. But, sure enough, 3o minutes later, we were running to the toilet for her to throw up. She was a pro - didn't even cry or act scared! Definitely not my kid. I have a near phobia of puking!

Needless to say, she had a puny morning, so I made her a pallet (sp?) on my floor so she could watch TV and put the trashcan next to her just in case. Yes, I'm completely selfish - I did not want her throwing up in my bed!

Of course, Harper had to have a pallet too.

After watching Angelina Ballerina on TV, Delaney decided to put her tap shoes on and dance around. Not such a good idea, as her cantaloupe soon made a reappearance!

Now, 5 hours and 4 pukes later, Delaney is taking a nap. I pray the bug is gone soon! Aren't you glad you checked my blog today? Hope you weren't eating :)
