Our sweet, silly, sassy Harper-girl is finally 4 today! I guess she is in disbelief, though, because when she was on the phone with Honey this morning, she claimed that she was still 3 1/2 and wouldn't be 4 until later. We lucked out that her birthday fell on President's Day so we were all off of school. We had presents and pancakes before Daddy left for work. Then we went to Sports Academy for a play date with some friends who came back to our house for pizza, cupcakes, and more presents. After our friends left, I let the girls watch a movie so I could clean up the tornado caused by 13 kids! Thankfully, both girls took a 2-hour nap after the movie, allowing me to have some quiet time of my own. We finished off the day with dinner at Mama and Papa Paul's and a stop by Honey's so she and Papa Ed could see the birthday girl.
I interrupted her show to take this picture to post on Facebook, so she refused to smile.
Friends!
Silly faces!
The girls played dress up and Harper insisted on wearing her new Snow White dress from Ken and Kathy. Once we got it out of the box, we realized that it was super short. As in Halloween-hussy-costume short.
