Delaney lost her first tooth today! It happened at 2:55 pm in Honey's kitchen. She said that she was chewing on her blankie and it just came out! There was a little blood, but my mom says Delaney was brave. They promptly called me at school to tell me the big news!
I've heard that the earlier kids get their teeth, the earlier they lose them. I just checked her baby book and she got her first tooth when she was 6 months and 2 days old - which stands to reason why she lost her fist tooth before she even started kindergarten! Interestingly, the first tooth the came in was the first tooth she lost.
Her other bottom tooth is actually a little loose, too. I'm a little nervous, because the girls are in a wedding in late July. I hope the bride doesn't mind that Delaney will have a toothless smile :)
