We made our second annual trek with the Rudds to Santa Claus, IN to go to Holiday World. This year, we had the added bonus of the Jones family! I was selfish and did not want to carry my big camera through the park and my phone camera isn't working, so all photo credits go to Krista. Unlike last year, the weather was a scorching 96 degrees with no clouds in the sky! However, we never really felt it because there was always a breeze created by the rides and, of course, it was a water park! It was considerably more crowded in the pools than last year, but overall we had a fantastic time. The kids were really well behaved and obedient with just one little incident with Harper at lunch time. Every year it gets easier as the kids become older and can ride more rides and be more independent. We were able to take turns and have the guys watch the kids while the moms rode an adult ride and vice versa. Unfortunately we learned that we are all getting a little too old for the jerky wooden roller coasters! Can't wait to do it again next year - put it on the calendar now if you want to join us!

We planned it just right and left the park around 7:30 pm. Harper was asleep literally before we were out of the parking lot and Delaney was not far behind, leaving us with a peaceful ride home.
